Context
Veolia Group is a world leader in optimised resource management, delivering solutions in water, waste and energy across the globe. With a workforce spread across multiple geographies and three languages (French, English and Spanish), managing talent at scale required a fundamentally new approach to skills.
Challenges
With over 6 600 skills declared every month across three languages, manual categorization, deduplication and translation had become unsustainable for HR teams. Skills data was fragmented and inconsistent across geographies, making internal mobility and workforce planning nearly impossible. Without a reliable, centralized skills database, employees had little visibility into opportunities available within the Group.
Results
Through its partnership with 365Talents, Veolia has built a dynamic, multilingual skills framework that today supports over 20 000 employees on the platform, 73% of whom have activated their profile. HR teams now have a real-time view of 15 800 skills across all languages, while 800 multilingual job descriptions allow employees to discover and directly apply for internal opportunities through AI-powered matching.
